I’ve been thinking a lot about “calling” lately. No surprise, since I started a podcast called “Called” and our first episode was about what “calling” could mean.
Although I’ve come to identify with the term, I haven’t always felt this way.

Am I called?
I never really thought so.
But here I am, working full-time in a church after part-time ministry for 20 years. I was “called” by the church to be their minister of music – the first time I’ve been formally called by a church I’ve served. And I even started a podcast for church staff called – you guessed it – Called.
So am I “called”?
